Multifamily Investments
Everest’s multifamily platform is focused on investing in premier apartment communities throughout the Southwestern United States, with a focus on the Phoenix metro area. Everest pursues both value-add and income strategies. Asset characteristics like vintage, size, and renovation potential vary depending on strategy, but investments to date have included apartment communities and fractured condo projects in the 200 to 500-unit range built in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. The company also acquires loans secured by multifamily assets, particularly non-performing or under-performing loans. Everest capitalizes its investments either in joint ventures with institutional private equity partners, or with syndicated capital, depending on investment strategy.
Everest’s multifamily team has over 100 years of combined experience in the management, development, acquisition, disposition and financing of real estate projects. Since 2010, Everest has acquired, renovated and sold over 1,200 multifamily units.
"Without hesitation, I give my highest recommendation for Everest Holdings and their multifamily investment execution. Through years of direct experience, I have found them to be well prepared in their understanding of the assets, submarket, and business plan clarity. On the deals they closed with my CBRE team, all were on time at the original contract price. Their pre deal preparation is at the top of the many firms in the industry. They are smart, seasoned and have the utmost integrity."
